The Road to Miss Indiana is Virtual

We are excited to continue our at-large virtual competition in 2025 and fill the final spots on the road to Miss Indiana and Miss Indiana’s Teen. You can compete for Miss Heart of Indiana & Teen, Miss Wabash Valley & Teen, Miss Duneland, and Miss Indiana South (restricted to candidates who have not been to state as a Miss candidate previously). *Minimum number of candidates must be met to award all titles. (12 for Miss, 5 for Teen)

Who is Eligible?

All candidates who meet the MAO eligibility requirements to compete in a local competition are eligible.*

*For Miss Indiana South you must be a candidate who has not competed at the state level as a Miss contestant.

Is there a cost?

$30 American Heart Association donation + $100 Local Competition Fee are required to compete.

How does the judging work?

A panel of 5 judges will be viewing your virtual submissions as well as an 8 minute Zoom interview with our judges. Interviews will be held on Sunday, March 9 (time TBA based on the number of entries). You will not be required to attend an in-person local, all competition is virtual but you will be required to join Zoom for your interview time.

What happens if I win?

You are on your way to the state competition! You will receive a crown and sash and a Local Mentor will be assigned to you to guide you on your journey to Miss Indiana or Miss Indiana’s Teen in Zionsville.

All video components should be filmed on a cell phone in horizontal format. No professional video or sound equipment needed.

Active Wear and Evening Wear videos should be similar to on-stage competition walking patterns with modeling. Please record in a location without background distractions.
