Miss Indiana’s Rising Stars are an official chapter of Miss America’s Little Sisters.
Rising Stars and Empower Academy
Miss Indiana’s Rising Stars program is not a competition, but a program is designed for girls, ages 5 to 13*, who are looking to improve upon skills that promote confidence and poise while receiving mentoring from the young leaders who participate in Miss Indiana and Miss Indiana’s Teen. Girls Ages 5-9 • Registration Fee $300
- Attend events on Friday and Saturday of competition week
- Production Rehearsal
- Crowning and Activity Event with snacks
- Friday Night Preliminary Competition including 2 tickets
- Saturday Miss Indiana Parade
- Saturday Night Miss Indiana and Miss Indiana’s Teen Finals including 2 tickets
- Each girl needs a white or pink party dress (length below the knee)
- Current school photo for program book (No crowns in photo please)
Girls Ages 10-13 • Registration Fee $350
Do you want to learn the secrets that make Miss Indiana contestants successful young women? Empower Academy is for girls, ages 10-13, and is not a competition, but rather an opportunity to learn the “tricks of the trade” and prepare to one day become a local titleholder.
- Attend events on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of competition week
- Training Camp (10:00-2:00 on Thursday of competition week)
- Production Rehearsal
- Crowning and Activity event
- Miss Indiana Preliminary Night on Friday including 2 tickets
- Miss Indiana Parade
- Final night of the Miss Indiana Competition on Saturday including 2 tickets
- Each girl needs to wear a white or pink party dress
- Current school photo for program book (No crowns in photo please)
What is included?
- Training Session & Lunch on Thursday of competition week (Empower Academy Only)
- 2 tickets to all Miss Indiana competitions and Miss Indiana’s Teen ($200 value)
- One ticket is for the participant and the other ticket is for an adult chaperone.
- Autographed photo of Miss Indiana
- Autographed photo of Miss Indiana’s Teen
- Miss America’s Little Sisters Official tiara and sash
- T-shirt
- Crowning and Activity event with Miss Indiana candidates on Friday of competition week
- Participate in the Miss Indiana Parade through downtown Zionsville on Saturday of competition week
- Production number on stage during Friday and Saturday shows
- Enjoy the spotlight as you walk the Miss Indiana runway
*Participants may be 13 years old as long as they have not competed in a local competition.
